
Starting another baking session with our all time favorite flavor of October PUMPKIN! This bread is sure to knock you into the fall season and just take a moment of relaxation with maybe a cup of coffee.
To start the recipe we will first need to Brown Butter. Although this can seem intimating do not over think it and I promise it MAKES this recipe!!
In a pan add
- 1/2 cup of butter salted, thats one whole stick! Brown it- leave on high heat until it turns brown.
- once brown take off heat and add 2 Tablespoons of butter to it and let it cool down
In a mixing bowl add:
- cooled browned butter
- 3/4 white granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- MIX WELL
- then add 1 cup of pumpkin puree and mix again
In a separate bowl add:
- 1 3/4 cup of all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
- whisk it all togetheer
Fold in dry ingredients into the wet and set aside. Next make the cream cheese filling:
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Mix it all together
In a greased loaf pan layer 1/3 batter then 1/2 of cream cheese on top. Using a toothpick or butter knife swirl the batter/filling. Next add 1/3 of the batter and the rest of the cream cheese filling on top, Swirl again. Next add the rest of the batter and swirl so more! Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and 1/4 cup of brown sugar all over the top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 65-75 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean from the center! THEN ENJOY!!
