Suffolk County Apple Orchards + Hours & Updates!

It finally feels like fall and that means its time for all things APPLE! Long Island’s apple orchards are open for the season, but some of them have reduced hours or limited capacity. See the information below or check out the Orchard’s websites for more info!

 

Woodside Orchards, Aquebogue & Jamesport

Hours:
Aquebogue is open Daily from 11:30- 5:30. Apple picking starting 9/21. Jamesport will open weekends 10-4:30 starting 9/12 Picking Cortland & Empire. Cash only.

Important Info from Woodside Orchards:
Please keep in mind masks must be worn at all times, and as of 7/16, we must serve you food with any initial alcohol purchase for on-premise consumption. We are offering single donuts & cookies. U-pick bags can be purchased on site. You may not bring your own basket. Once you buy the bag you go to the U-pick gate and fill your bag with apples! We charge based on volume not weight so you don’t have to worry about coming back in after you’ve picked your apples. They are peck (1/4 bushel) sized bags that hold 10-12 pounds of apples. You must have at least one U-pick bag per party in order to enter the Orchard. Each bag costs $20. Entrance into the Orchard is only allowed during the U-pick season of September-October. U-Pick closes a half hour before regular business hours.

Harbes Orchard, Riverhead

Hours:
Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays 9am-6pm
Non-holiday weekdays 10am-5pm

Important Info from Harbes:
Harbes Orchard is open daily through November 1st. Reservations are not required. Please remember to bring face coverings for family members and observe social distancing while on the farm. Other than that, plan to have a great day of apple picking!

We are operating at reduced capacity on weekends and holidays. We highly recommend visiting on a non-holiday weekday. OPEN WEATHER PERMITTING! Always check our website, social media, or message before visiting in inclement weather.Credit cards preferred at this time. Kids 2 and under are free but do not receive an apple bag (Admission is $16-$26 depending on what package you choose). Harbes Orchard 3 lb. Apple Bag holds 6-10 apples. All apples must fit in the bag provided. Any additional apples that you pick you will be charged for. Bags and carriages subject to search. Children under 12 require adult supervision in the maze. No outside food or drinks.
Last admission to the Farm: 4:40 pm weekdays & 5:40 pm weekends & holidays
Last Corn Maze admission: 4:20 pm weekdays & 5:20 pm weekends & holidays
No pets allowed.

Wickhams Fruit Farm, Cutchogue

U-Pick Hours are 10-3 on Saturdays only as the apple crop is light this year. Please call ahead, 631-734-6441, and please wear face coverings and maintain social distancing while on the farm!

Hank’s Punkintown, Watermill 

$30 to Pick a 1 Peck Bag (Approx. 10lbs of Apples). Maximum 4 People per Bag. No Charge for Children Under 3 Years Old. APPLE PICKING & MAZE PARK: EVERY SATURDAY & SUNDAY

Lewin Farms, Calverton

U-Pick fields generally open from 9am to 4:30pm,  except when otherwise noted due to limited quantities or weather conditions. Please call (631)-929-4327 to confirm daily schedule. **Sorry, no pets allowed in U-Pick fields or store for health and safety reasons. Please wear masks and maintain social distancing while on the farm.
