Meet Jeanna Masone: Medical Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner

How did you get started in Medical Aesthetics?

I had wanted to become a Cosmetologist as a kid but my Mom wanted me to become a nurse. So I became a Nurse and later a Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from Stonybrook University in 2012 and worked in the fields of General Medicine, Cardiology, and Surgery. I was blessed to be able to combine Medicine and Beauty my two greatest passions.

What services do you offer? We offer all things related to anti-aging. We do micro needling which stimulates your bodies own collagen. This is a great option for those who prefer more natural options.

I also use neurotoxins like Botox to relax wrinkles. I use Dermal fillers like Restalyne to restore volume and sculpt the face. We also carry an incredible line of prescription-only skin care called Skin Science.

What sets you apart from other Medical Aesthetics offices?  I think I set myself apart by being myself. I am a genuine and gentle person. I love old Hollywood glamour. The elegance of that era is something that inspires me..I work out of an old white mansion, surrounded by flowers and antiques. I have very specific taste, and a great eye and that is what makes  me an Aesthetic Artist. I cater to my clients in every way and even travel to them and do House Calls. My team and I create a personal dynamic experience for everyone that cannot be replicated.

What would you say to someone who is nervous to try botox or fillers? People are afraid to change their face. However they don’t realize that aging and gravity are already steadily changing their faces! Pull out some older photographs of yourself if you are skeptical. What I strive to do, is keep my clients looking like themselves for as long as possible. Subtle changes can make you look refreshed, rested and rejuvenated!

What is your favorite thing about what you do? As a provider, I am in a unique position to lift people’s self esteem. I love to make everyone feel special and beautiful because they are.
