Is it just me or does it sometimes feel like “self care” is just a way to blame Mom’s for struggling to keep up with society’s unreasonable expectations?

Work like you don’t have kids, raise your kids like you don’t work, exclusively breastfeed- don’t you DARE give your baby formula (gasp!), screen time is bad, make sure to cook ONLY organic meals, make sure your kids online schooling is going well, be an attentive partner, OH AND MAKE SURE YOU TAKE TIME FOR SELF CARE 🤔

Instead of turning the blame around, we need to acknowledge that Moms are not suffering from a lack of self care but rather the lack of a VILLAGE, that is supposed to be caring for her. Holding her baby while she showers, dropping off dinner after a long hard day, listening to her vent and showing her empathy and grace.

We want to change the narrative from “what are you doing to take care of yourself” to “what can WE do to take care of you?”

I remember when I was pregnant I knew I wanted to cloth diaper my son! But I wasn’t exactly supported (hubby did NOT want to wash 💩) so I didn’t do it

Until the pandemic happened & we were stuck at home. I decided to take the plunge and it’s been the best decision ever!

Pros of cloth diapering:
💰 saving money! After the initial purchase to build my stash, no more running out of diapers!

🌎 better for the environment

👶🏻 better for my baby - no toxic chemicals touching his skin, no diaper rash

💩 no blow outs!! EVER!

Cloth diapering can seem strange, or even overwhelming to start! But I promise it’s just as easy as disposables!
